The way of the four
winds – and the seven sea currents. Join us on a cultural and
historical tour of this fascinating and exciting land and seascape. The
seven tidal currents around Husøyvær provide one of the finest marine
ecosystems in Norway. The interaction of fast currents, small-scale
agriculture and biological diversity make the area unique, even from a
global perspective. The area is well protected by surrounding mountains as
well as Sagfjord`s deep waters, which provide a rich haven for teeming
birdlife and shoals of fish. Transport from Innhavet to
Finnøy, photographic exhibition in an old traditional timber
“nordlandshouse” with informative
lecture. Light meal served. A guided walk in the area. Duration:
approximately 3-4 hours. Price: NOK 850 per person.
