Nature
Join us in the mountains and fjords of this spectacular area in Arctic Norway. Arctic Wilderness Experience invites you to take an exclusive journey of renewal and transformation in a powerful and deeply inspiring landscape. Let this land remind you of where you and your ancestors first came from - and where you still belong.

The Location
Hamarøy is the realm of abundant and varied bird and wildlife, including large numbers of sea eagles, considerable fish stocks, moose, reindeer, lynx, wolverine, otter, and fox.  Spectacular birch forests, lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and long fjords bordered by mountains, grace the overall panorama, from which Norse myth and legend have helped to shape modern Scandinavia.  Here, in this wild country, the spirits of our ancestors are still alive, active and powerful – yet rarely acknowledged by modern society.  The region has been inhabited by the indigenous Sami for thousands of years. Their sacred sites are still here.

We offer the opportunity to travel in a wild landscape by foot and by boat, which allows us to get close to nature. Under the professional guidance of Robin Buzza we offer you an escape from the hectic din of modern life to enjoy the rich world and surroundings of the Sami people.

All people can be strengthened in spirit, mind, body and character by a wilderness experience. People will go into the wilderness, under experienced guidance, to gain an understanding of natural resources, nature and the wilderness. They will do so without the trappings and comforts of modern life in order to get back to basics and become closer with the environment.
